Happy Birthday Sandi Rammel!

Today is Sandi's (Sticky's Mom) Birthday. We ventured over to St Marys for some great dinner, excellent wine and good company. Thought you guys might like to see some pics (mostly babies of course!). By the way the cutie with the Camo and blue eyes is Maddie (Sticky's niece) and the knockout with the brown eyes is Lexi (Sticky's other niece).

HOPE YOU HAD A GOOD ONE SANDI!

sticky's inaugural blog

hey folks. well we'll be traveling to Davenport, IA on Saturday to celebrate Easy Ed and his fiance Amanda's graduation from Palmer College (chiropractor school). It should be a hopping time. Then we are driving to Chicago and flying down to Savannah, Georgia in hopes of finding that special place to get married. It is a place that Brandy and I have always wanted to visit. In preparation for the trip I read a book called "Midnight In the Garden of Good and Evil". This book is HIGHLY recommended reading by this uneducated ol' fashioned barber. Take a gander at it if you get the chance. peace.

Engagement Photos

We had our engagement photos taken last week in Fort Wayne, IN. Check them out! Photography by JustinWiard (a friend of mine who is an awesome photographer!). By the way, I love the one by the Court House - just ignore the fact that Sticky blinked!

Engagement

For those of you who don't know - we were engaged January 15th, 2006 in Chicago, IL. When Sticky and I met our first official date was in Chicago, IL (he lived in Madison, WI and I lived in Columbus, OH at the time - so it seemed like the most logical place to meet) with plans to attend a Reds/Cubs game. We walked on Lake Shore Drive all the way from the Chicago River to Wrigley Field. Along the way we stopped in some locally owned establishments for refreshments. It was the perfect day - great weather, great food/drinks, great baseball and great company. It will always be a day that I will remember. So that brings us to the locale of the engagement - right across from a restaurant/bar where we enjoyed lunch on that baseball weekend. I should of figured it out but I didn't. He proposed (in a bar - how appropriate!) and of course I said "Yes!" It was the perfect surprise with a gorgeous ring to match. I was so surprised I did not even think to take a picture - go figure! So that is our engagement story minus the gushy details!
As many of you know - WE ARE ENGAGED! So now the craziness of planning begins! We have created this blog to keep all of our loved ones informed on the progress of our upcoming wedding. This is our first time blogging so be patient with us! Hopefully you will enjoy checking in and please feel free to add comments!
