savannah.trip two

As many of you know, Sticky and I had a FANTASTIC time touring our adopted wedding city with my parents (we missed you Steve and Sandi) last weekend! One of the first things that we did was visit the Mansion on Forsyth Park. I had so many questions going into the Mansion and our coordinator, Jeannie, answered every single one of them for me - right down to hair and makeup! This really put me at ease for the rest of the trip. She was also kind enough to order us a round of champagne to celebrate our upcoming nuptials. So of course the picture that you see is the first of many that Sticky and I will have from the wedding site (some of them will not have cocktails in them hopefully). I was excited for the wedding before the trip but now I can barely stand it. I promise to everyone that comes that you are going to have a fantastic time in this beautiful city. And the Mansion is going to be a great place for you to celebrate with us! We are looking at one more trip back to Savannah in the fall before the big day. Hopefully Steve and Sandi will be able to join us this time.

I had so many images that I wanted to share that I decided to make a little collage. If it does not show up very big on your screen you should be able to click on it in order to make it larger. Savannah is a very easy city to get carried away photographing - as you can see. I would love to shoot a wedding there someday!

I sure can't wait. This is going to be such a great experience. Clever collage idea. Is that the mansion in the corner? What's with Bull St? Did you click it because it looks like a naughty phrase?

Thanks Everyone!

I am excited as well - honestly I cannot stop thinking about it. I am so excited to share this city with all of our family and friends that we love so much! It is so good to hear that you guys are all excited too! Can I type the word excited more??!!

Kurt - no that is not the Mansion but it is owned by the same people who own the Mansion. It is a B&B called the Kehoe House and it is MAGNIFICANT! Actually if only 50 people show up to the wedding that is suppossed to be the back up place. We also found out that Joe Namath (I hope I spelled that right otherwise the football gods will get me) owned it back in the day and sold it for quite a profit - probably to the owner's now (The Kessler Group).
As far as the Bull St thing I did not think of it that way but I guess I could of. Such a mischevious mind you have, Spinaltwist!

Great shots, guys!!! Love the collage. We're really looking forward to working with you next year. It'll be here before you know it. Thanks for showing us your blog...a window into your life. We're going to visit it frequently.

Your photography is really nice, and we look forward to seeing more from you in the future. :-)
