brandy and sticky.photographers

Hello everyone! Just thought I would put up a quick little post since I have not done so in a while. As most of you know Sticky and I have been shooting weddings together and the one we wrapped up this past weekend will be our 4th. That's quite a few considering the very first one we shot together was on May 20th of this year! I thought you all would enjoy a pic of Stick in action! The picture of me is for everyone that complains about me putting silly pictures of them on the internet. It also answers the question of what do you do to make people laugh? Well, I think that one would scare them more than make them laugh, but you get the point. Hope everyone had a good weekend! There will be a post from the wedding on the photography blog soon!

The Mighty Maumee

First of all a quick shout out goes to Steve Rammel and Randy Adams and all the other great fathers of the world. Brandy and I had a busy and fantastic father's day. We were rousted out at 6:30 am by Brandy's parents. We cruised up to Grand Rapids, Ohio and went to River Lures. This is a great little place on the Maumee River that serves as a bait and tackle shop and a canoe and kayak livery. The people are exceptionally nice and hospitable. We boarded up in two canoes for a six mile ride down the river. Great fun was had by all. After this excursion we enjoyed a nice dinner at my parent's house. All in all, it was a great Father's Day spent with great people.
Talk to you soon.

Celebrating the "Old Lefthander"

Saturday June the 10th was the anniversary of Joe Nuxhall pitching his first game in the Major Leagues. By the way, he was only 15 years old. The "Old Lefthander" is still the youngest player to ever play in the big leagues. Brandy and I had the amazing honor of meeting Joe at the Great American Ballpark before the game verses the Cubs. We (I say we because I truly believe that I am a part of the reds organization) lost, but it was a superb night nonetheless. We got to see future hall of famer Ken Griffey Jr. go deep and make a spectacular grab while crashing into the wall. Not to be overshadowed by meeting Joe, we also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Red. He's no slouch either.

we have some catching up to do....

Hello Everyone! We apologize for ignoring our beloved blog. It has been way too long!

As many of you know, we had a lot of bonding time with Sticky's family the week following Labor Day. I cannot tell how great it was to see everyone come together the way that they did. I could not be more excited to become a member of this terrific crew!

Well, in all the great bonding time and then catching up on work time we neglected to post some big things that happened in the last couple of weeks. So here we go:

TJ and his mom, Karen celebrating his graduation! She seemed so thrilled to throw her last graduation party.

Little Miss Lexi had her first birthday cake - AND SHE LOVED IT!

Here is a pic of Chuck, Mel and Barley. They drove all the way up from Charlotte, NC to be with everyone! Mel's Birthday was on Labor Day and a Happy Belated Birthday wish is in order on the blog. Also a BIG CONGRATULATIONS on the BUN IN THE OVEN - it's about time Barley is not an only child anymore!

And here is a pic of the whole family (don't forget about the 2 baby ?s in the pic). I think we look like a pretty good bunch!
