Celebrating the "Old Lefthander"

Saturday June the 10th was the anniversary of Joe Nuxhall pitching his first game in the Major Leagues. By the way, he was only 15 years old. The "Old Lefthander" is still the youngest player to ever play in the big leagues. Brandy and I had the amazing honor of meeting Joe at the Great American Ballpark before the game verses the Cubs. We (I say we because I truly believe that I am a part of the reds organization) lost, but it was a superb night nonetheless. We got to see future hall of famer Ken Griffey Jr. go deep and make a spectacular grab while crashing into the wall. Not to be overshadowed by meeting Joe, we also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Red. He's no slouch either.

Wow, what a night: Stick-O got to meet the 'Ol Lefthander and Bran got to meet MR. Red. I am jealous. Stick, what are you having him sign and why are your arms shaking so? Did you tell him about your pitching days for the Bank 1 Tigers?
