a few clowns.......

This past weekend we shot a wedding in which a few of our clients turned friends were there. Here is an image of Seth Clyde, Brandon Pardon and Sticky all enjoying a stogy in honor of Sticky's B-day! I cannot even begin to tell you how lucky Jordanne, Johanna and I are - we just know that all the ladies are so jealous! Really cannot get much more sexy than this pic guys:

clay's first photo shoot....

Here is the lil' guy!!! He actually reacted a lot like his lil' sis - not too sure about the whole photo shoot idea (notice the "gesture" in the last one). He is such a cutie - love how solid he is!! It is so much more fun to hold a newborn when they are as big as him!! I cannot wait till the next shoot, we will definitely have to get Miss Maddie in there with him!

and he is here...

Yesterday we received the wonderful news that Kim and Carl just had a baby boy!! The first official nephew for Sticky (even though he will be Austin's real deal uncle in Feb) and first Grandson for Steve and Sandi! We have not seen him yet but I believe that he will be having his first photo shoot tomorrow! A whopping 9 lbs and a half ounce - OUCH (even though I have know idea it still sounds HUGE!)!! Kim sounded great on the phone and I am sure in a few months she will be pregnant again with the third one - HEE HEE! Congratulations Cummins - Maddie you are going to be an EXCELLENT BIG SIS!

some image of parker thomas..

We received some images of Parker Thomas yesterday - I just have to post them!! He is too cute and I cannot believe how big he is considering that he is not even a week old!!

paige.big sister

Wanted to send out a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Chad, Nicky and Paige Hess on their newest addition to the family, PARKER THOMAS (I apologize if any of the spelling is wrong guys)!! I cannot even imagine the overwelming joy on Chad's face when the phrase "It's a boy!" was said! We are SO HAPPY for you guys! I definitely think that Parker is lucky to have an AWESOME big sis like Paige:

Also wanted to post a little about the World Series (for those of you who have absolutely no interest in sports - I am talking baseball here). Much to my dismay I just witnessed the Cardinals beat the Mets 3-1 for the National League Pennant. So this leaves me with an agonizing choice: root for the Cardinals (only b/c I prefer the National League over the American League by leaps and bounds) or cheer for the Detroit Tigers b/c of my loyalty to Sticky and the fact that this is his American League team (you must keep in mind that we are both REDS FANS FIRST AND FOREMOST - but as many other baseball fans know, you grow a slight fondness for other teams - especially when yours has not made it to the playoffs in a REALLY LONG FRIGIN TIME). I will have to sleep on this for sure. Everyone enjoy the World Series and if Andy and Ashley (yes, I saw you wearing that White Sox crap on your myspace page) are reading this Sticky and I want to know what happened to the 2005 World Series Champs - HMMMM?????!!!!!

october snow

Today was the first really cold day of the year - a little early if you ask me! Sticky was ripping carpet off the steps and I was editing on the computer when I happened to glance out the window and saw SNOW falling down! Even though I complain about the cold all the time, I do believe a snowfall is just about the most beautiful and serene thing you will ever see. This snow was kind of weird - it was hard and resembled pellets like grape nuts cereal. It was still beautiful though! I am actually just a little anxious now for the first real deal snowfall - but it could probably wait till at least November (closer to Thanksgiving preferrably).

grand rapids, oh.fall festival

Today Sticky and I finally got a chance to do one of our favorite things - take in a Fall Festival. Today's festival was in the quaint, beautiful small town of Grand Rapids, OH. It was the annual Apple Butter Festival held every year the 2ND Sunday of October - that's right, ONLY Sunday. We were lucky enough to make it there last year so we already knew how great it is. We started off the morning taking in some great New Orleans style music performed by a local band and then met up with my parents and Colette and Dean for some breakfast. After that we toured the craftsmen and artist's booths snatching up some really great finds!! The boys started to look like pack mules by the end of the day! After all that shopping we re-energized with a refreshment and of course an apple dumpling. Really does not get much better than that if you ask me!

a masquerade party.hosted by krista etzler

Our Matron of Honor and my very best friend, Krista, hosted a couple's wedding shower/masquerade party for us this past Saturday evening. First and foremost I have to give props to Jordanne Clyde for taking time out on her busy Saturday to transform me into the images that you see below. I wanted a vintage glam look and she rocked it out!!! Jordanne is SO TALENTED and we were VERY BUMMED that her and her husband, Seth, were unable to make it to the party (they had another couple's shower that they were already committed to). I had so much fun getting all dolled up and she may just have turned me into a makeup junky - something that she is known for doing!

As you can see Krista went all out for the party - like usual! She always does a bang up job for every party that she has ever thrown and this was no exception!! Beauty and creative - what a package!! The decor was awesome and she also made a jeopardy game that was loads of fun to play. Krista was the only one in on the surprise that my bridesmaid, Mel, was surprising us from out of state! She did such a good job hiding it and it really was a GREAT surprise! You may be wondering about that fab cake - it came from one of the local cake guys, Alex, who owed me a favor. He created one of the most beautiful shower cakes I have ever seen! All in all that night was a blast and Sticky and I want to thank everyone for coming! Krista - you can throw us a party anytime - really :-) If you want to see the collage below bigger just click on it...

O-HI-O.osu vs penn state game

I'm here to give you a report of the Ohio State vs. Penn State football game from a tailgating fan's point of view. Brandy and I had the luxury of attending this great game at the Horseshoe with Kim, Randy, Colette, Dean, Junior, Tiffany, Tom, Stacey, Austin, and Stephanie. The grill was fired up and "soda pops" were flowing. It was beautiful weather the whole day with the exception of the first half of the game. A steady drizzle couldn't hold us back. The Buckeyes fought off a shaky first half, and prevailed 28-6. Note the Brutus imitator in a picture below. At first sight, I thought it was the real Brutus. You may do a double take as well. During the tailgating, we were approached with the opportunity to purchase some raffle tickets benefiting lymphoma research. Wouldn't you believe it, that Brutus imitator won an autographed Archie Griffin hat! A great time was had by all.
