a masquerade party.hosted by krista etzler
Our Matron of Honor and my very best friend, Krista, hosted a couple's wedding shower/masquerade party for us this past Saturday evening. First and foremost I have to give props to Jordanne Clyde for taking time out on her busy Saturday to transform me into the images that you see below. I wanted a vintage glam look and she rocked it out!!! Jordanne is SO TALENTED and we were VERY BUMMED that her and her husband, Seth, were unable to make it to the party (they had another couple's shower that they were already committed to). I had so much fun getting all dolled up and she may just have turned me into a makeup junky - something that she is known for doing!
As you can see Krista went all out for the party - like usual! She always does a bang up job for every party that she has ever thrown and this was no exception!! Beauty and creative - what a package!! The decor was awesome and she also made a jeopardy game that was loads of fun to play. Krista was the only one in on the surprise that my bridesmaid, Mel, was surprising us from out of state! She did such a good job hiding it and it really was a GREAT surprise! You may be wondering about that fab cake - it came from one of the local cake guys, Alex, who owed me a favor. He created one of the most beautiful shower cakes I have ever seen! All in all that night was a blast and Sticky and I want to thank everyone for coming! Krista - you can throw us a party anytime - really :-) If you want to see the collage below bigger just click on it...

You all look so goofy! But pretty too! :) I wish I could go to it! I bet you had fun! What were you guys dressing up as? See you later! ( hopefully! )
What a great idea!! You guys must just be having a great time planning the wedding. I always check in to see what you've been up to, and your photographs are always stunning Brandy. Always! Anyway, I don't feel so far away when I can read about my family online... either from Cincinnati or from China!! Take care, see you at the holidays!
