the day after.........
Sorry about the delay in blogs, we have been playing catch up. Believe it or not we still have a few more from our wedding weekend!
We ventured on a Haunted Pub Crawl in Savannah on Saturday evening - it was so great. I am not positive but I am pretty sure that over half of our guests decided to join - which of course made it extra fun. We visited several establishments in Savannah and were educated on the spirits who reside in them.
Joe bought Ash this huge can of PBR on the Crawl - don't ask.
Darc stealing a kiss from his lovely lady Emilee.
Ash and Sticky
TC, our Pub Crawl guide - he was GREAT!!
Darc, me and Ash
Gary was a little sleepy so he took a nap in the haunted upstairs of the Moon River Brewery.
And now I am about to get a little sappy. We made our first trip to Savannah back in Feb 2006 and pretty much decided by hour one that there could not be a more perfect place for us to get married. We knew that the wedding would involve a lot of planning and maybe a bit of stress....you know, the usual. And now we sit here over a year later with very special new friends in our lives all due to the wedding. I have talked about Garrett and Joy in the past few blogs. They truly are one of the sweetest and obviously most talented couples we have ever met. We could not be happier to have them as colleagues and friends.
And then there would be a man named Dave Whidden, where do I begin?! We met him on our first visit to Savannah and have loved him ever since. Not only did he lead us to all the great venues (Mansion) but he took care of us every time we visited Savannah - he made us feel at home when we were there. Dave is a great guy through and through. He has a heart of gold!! As far as his talents, the list is endless. Bartender, hairdresser, manager, product developer, etc....... But first and foremost he is just a great person. I am so thrilled that we were able to make a stop at The Warehouse on the BIG DAY (you can see a few images on the Garrett Nudd SLIDESHOW). Thanks for everything Dave and I hope that this St Patty's weekend goes smoothly for you - I am SO BUMMED that we could not make it to help out.
Dave with some of the gang.
Super Dave sang us a song on Saturday - notice the shirt (too funny)!!
A cool one of the guitar player.
The Big Etz and Super Dave
